Not our tears
Remember our joys
Not our fears

Remember us young
Working and sharing
Remember us loving
And always caring

Remember our walks
In the quiet rain
The glorious summers
That sparkling lake

Remember the garden
The flowering trees
The scent of the blooms
The hum of the bees

Remember the children
The blessing, the joys
The warm little hands
Holding unto ours

Remember our love
Untouched by age
The oath, and the pledge
The promises made

Remember that ever
I’ll be by your side
In sickness and in health
Forever, your wife.
